Okay, you asked and you got it! This is how I use prismacolour marker. And since I didn't mention it in the tutorial, I draw on cardstock, because it's thick and strong. Also, the marker doesn't fade, which is nice.

I hope this answers your questions! ^__^

Awesome tutorial! I got a question... where can you get the sakura pentouch white? (I'm also from Toronto)

You have everything you need, if you just believe
Meh, i like the cheap route..plus I love some of the colours prisma has ^_^ And they're only better if you know how to use them. And you can use them quite a bit differently than prismas. To each their own =)

(aslo from toronto? I'm from ottawa =P) I got mine at a store called Wallacks. As far as I know, you should be able to get them at any art store. if they don't have them, look them up on the net, print out a picture and then take it to your local art store--they're usually pretty good about ordering things for customers here.

Oh YES!!! I've had a set of PC markers for a few years, and I feel so stupid when I use them. Thanks much!

Yeah, well, so far my Copic work has been turning my family into one big fangroup. O_O Though I currently cannot afford Sakura Microns or anything.. Your marker work looks much smexier, and that's why you're the one with a DD in your book.

hehe, actually, 2 DDs...*runs*

But meh. At least your family likes your art. Mine pretty much hates it. My mom won't put anyhting I make on her walls.

You use a technique I've always found works best for most of my pics (and kudos for the fact that you belive in the whole 'it's how you use the medium, not what the medium is). I must say, the colours on the scaf are sexy! :giggle:

oops! Sorry! Coz i saw you at Anime North.. I thought you're from Toronto =p My bad
Thanks for the help! I'll go and take a look at art stores. I never knew there were these kinda pens! I always used a paintbrush and white paint to do the whites O_o
So when you color using markers, you never use the colorless blender?

--
You have everything you need, if you just believe
The colourless blender is the tool of satan--all I have ever successfully done with it is smear my art to high hell, or make it all gross and mottled looking. I abandoned it long ago...but yeah, I'm from ottawa, i took a bus to AN =)
