Here you will find the Cover art for the very first remixed version of RAnSOM. I think I actually managed to fix my scanner today, so this scan came out quite nicely indeed =)

I didn't do much, if any real redesign on Poe. i toyed with the idea of getting rid of his 'antenna' but Cory argued that he'd look kinda bland without it. I wanted to make him simple, but upon removing them in the sketch, I saw that he was right. Just wasn't Poe anymore. Other than that, I mayor may not continue to colour his eyelashes the same colour as his hair.

This picture was done on Cardstock in Copic markers. I have to say that I am sorely missing my prismas--I mean, I like the brush end and all, but the colours are all either too bright or too bland--there's no happy medium except for like...2 colours, and they run out like crazy.

I will add the cover text when I put it up on SmackJeeves.

Mmm, I get the best results from mixing Copics and Prismas. I do tend to prefer Prismas for flesh tones.

I like the folds and shading on his sweater. Purple is such a tough color to use with markers. What colors did you use, if you remember?

I can't decide if I like the somewhat cartoony skulls, if they work with the way you drew Poe, or if they're hard to take seriously...

Use prismas alongside Copics then? I use Copics, Neopikos and prismas together and I'm happy with the way it comes out. Prismas are very loud and bright.

They were decidedly less cartoony before I inked them =/ I honestly don't know what happened. *I*'m having a hard time taking them seriously, but I think i can live with them.

I can't remember which colours i used >_< I'll make note next time i upload something, because i use the same ones a lot.

My problem is that my prismas are currently all dried up, and also I cannot afford to get more >_< Prismas have three or four colours that I used to use, and everything look really nice. There appear to be almost no copic equivalents >_<
